10 Year Limited Warranty
Your Granite or Quartz countertop is backed by a 10 year limited warranty on manufactured deficiencies. Your countertop is also backed by a 10 year limited warranty, which covers the fabrication and installation from the time it is originally installed.
Warranty Terms
We will either repair or replace, at our discretion, the countertop piece if it fails due to any manufactured defect during the first 10 years after initial installation. This warranty does not cover countertops that have been subjected to chemical or physical abuse. This warranty also does not cover countertops that have been moved from their original installed location, and it does not cover the natural characteristics of the stone, which include, but are not limited to, color variations, water lines or surface marks. This warranty also does not cover damage to your countertop caused by items out of anyone's control, such as house settlement (the primary cause of cracks that form in the stone after installation), fires, tornados or other acts of nature.
Care and Maintenance
The countertops must be cared for in accordance with the guidelines set forth in order for the warranty to be valid.
Granite Care and Maintenance
Clean granite surfaces with a few drops of neutral cleaner, stone soap or a mild liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. Use a clean rag for best results. Too much cleaner or soap will leave a film and cause streaks. Do not use products that contain lemon, vinegar or other acids on the granite as the high acid content may etch the surface. Rinse the surface thoroughly after washing with the soap solution and dry with a soft cloth. Change the rinse water frequently. Do not use scouring powders or creams; these products contain abrasives that may scratch the surface. In bath and other wet areas soap scum can be minimized by using a squeegee after each use. To remove soap scum, use a non-acidic soap scum remover. Frequent or over use of an ammonia solution may eventually dull the surface of the stone.

What is Covered by the Warranty
Rock Solid Creations, Inc. warrants that all of its work substantially conforms to the manufacturer's recommendations and follows industry standards and quality guidelines and that, upon notice from customer, it will correct any faults related to defective workmanship or mis-application of the product at no additional cost to the customer. For a period of ten (10) years from the date of substantial completion of the work, upon notice to Rock Solid Creations, Inc. and only if the work is determined to have been performed in a manner inconsistent with industry standards, we will resolve such defective work. If the warranty work requires the replacement of a product that is no longer available, the customer agrees to accept a reasonable product match.
What is Not Covered
This Limited Warranty does not cover the following items:
Tile is known for its water resistance and easy cleaning. With the right maintenance routine, your tile floors, walls, and countertops will look great and last for years.
Basic Maintenance
Sweep or vacuum floors to remove any dust or debris before using any cleaning products. Damp-mop your tile floor at least once each week (more frequently for heavy traffic areas) to decrease wear and abrasion from grit and soil.
Glazed Tile
Clean regularly with an all-purpose, non-oil-based household cleaner that's compatible with cleaning grout joints. Use an everyday multipurpose spray cleaner to remove soap scum, hard water deposits, and mildew on wall tiles in your bath or shower.
Unglazed Tile
Use concentrated tile cleaners that have a neutral pH for regular cleaning. These will safely remove grease, oils, and normal spills—just check to be sure the cleaner is intended for the application, use, and traffic level. Clean glass tile with any nonabrasive cleaner recommended for either glass or tile.
Tips for Preventing Damage
Extra Protection
Invest in high-quality floor mats and protective pads under heavy furniture for an extra layer of protection to your tile floors. Place floor mats at entrances and exits—they collect and trap corrosive substances that can be tracked in, like dirt, sand, oil, grit, asphalt, or even driveway sealer. Placing mats in high-traffic areas—in front of vanities, kitchen sinks, and stoves—is an effective way to reduce tile wear.
What to Avoid
