The Eyre’s wanted to update their kitchen counters. Their budget was tight so the cabinets and flooring were remaining the same.

The goal was to make the kitchen look beautiful but not too formal.  We had to be careful with the granite and backsplash selection so that it would make the kitchen warm and inviting without drawing too much attention to the cabinets. 3x6 Noce Travertine was selected by the Eyre’s for the backsplash to maintain a rustic look. We suggested the 1x1 copper mosaic interspersed throughout as an accent which really tied in nicely with the Eyre’s décor. Because of the budget we were able to purchase one sheet of the 12x12 copper mosaic and cut them to 3x3’s  and randomly sprinkle them into the backsplash. Ogee profile at the countertop edges gives an old world feel that a standard bullnose or square edge would not have been able to accomplish.
